# 285: Great Horned Owl

This owl was photographed within the Myakka State Park boundries near Sarasota, FL. The owl is a permanent resident to the park but is not observed very frequently. I suppose it was my lucky day when, as I walked along a trail, the owl alerted me to its presence.
