# P576: Brown Pelican

I find this pelican photo quite unique. Using a 400mm stabilized lens I lie near the waters edge waiting for that right bird to approach. The photo depicts the complex adjustments the bird makes as it lands. Reflections and shadows add complexity to the composition.
